Hollywood, CA is the entertainment capitol of the world and with this great honor comes some spectacular hotels to enjoy your stay. The area is very busy with tourist, performers, and local persons in the entertainment industry. Much of the lodging in the area consists of fairly inexpensive hotels, but if you are looking to enjoy your accomodations then stick with the Hollywood Classics.....

Chateau Marmont    One of the most classical hotels in the area in the Chateau Marmont. Much of the hotels in the area focus on the action going on in the area to bring in hotel guests, but Chateau Marmont does just the opposite. This castle-like hotel will give you the secluded elegance right on the Sunset strip that you are looking for. Arriving at the Chateau Marmont you surrender yourself to an infamous hideaway modeled after a royal residence in France's Loire Valley. he accomodations lend them selves for a romantic getaway in the heart of Hollywood. The Chateau's rooms are very swank and each one is different in size and style, many of the rooms have canopy beds, wood burning fireplaces, and French doors opening onto your private tiled patio. If you are a patron at the Chateau Marmont plan on having dinner at the Chateau's restaurant. The setting could be a movie set; Gardens, flickering lights, torches, gorgeous staff and patrons. The food is amazing and each night has a special that is out of this world. The only problem is getting a reservation so when you book your room request a reservation for dinner as well.

Roosevelt Hotel is a classical place to stay

The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is the number one spot to stay in the city for the central Hollywood location and long standing tradition since 1927. The classic Roosevelt Hotel is situated directly across the street form the Chinese and Kodak theatres and one block down from the cross section of Hollywood Blvd. and Highland Avenue. If you are planning a stay in the summer don't forget your swim trunks, the Roosevelt has an Olympic size swimming pool for its constituents. The Roosevelt Hotel is designed in Spanish colonial architecture with an obvious touch of "old Hollywood". If you are just in the area slip on in to the Roosevelt's Cinegrill supper club. It was a favorite place for Marilyn Monroe and it is the best place for cocktail hour in the area.
